Dear friends of the GiggleWorks,
The GiggleWorks board of directors wants to say many, many thanks for your support over the years.
We have tried to bring the dream of a children's museum for Berks County to reality, but the current economic situation has proved to be too difficult for us to surmount. However, all is not lost, as we have found an island of hope in this sea of negativity -- the Reading Public Museum.
After meeting with John Graydon Smith, the new museum director, and learning of his plans for more interactive exhibits for children, we agreed to invest our limited financial means with The Museum. The Museum is a wonderful cornerstone for the building of exhibits to help entertain and educate our children. The Museum's new philosophy is very much in step with our goals and its staff provides excellent support for realizing those goals.
So, it is with great pleasure and thanks that we link arms with the Reading Public Museum as we take continued steps toward a museum that invites children, their families, and educators to learn in an engaging and interactive fashion.

On behalf of the Board, staff, members, and the tens of thousands of children and their adults we educate and entertain annually, welcome to the Reading Public Museum. In the coming weeks and months, you will notice a visible and tangible change to The Museum's programming and exhibitions on each visit to our institution, with much of that change focusing on providing a better and more engaging learning environment for our younger visitors.
We believe that The Museum should be Berks County's leader in informal education in the arts, sciences, and humanities and we intend to ensure that the next 100 years at The Museum are filled with even more wonder, discovery, and enlightenment than the first 100. Please join us for a visit soon and come "feed your imagination" at the Reading Public Museum.
